Is this DNA? I've seen GATTACA

I took the 16S watercolour to my local framing shop this afternoon to get a mat (I had a frame) for the exhibition….and I happened to ask the gentleman in the Framing Department if it were at all possible to have a mat cut RIGHT THEN - and he laughed and asked, “Is it for the art show?” “Why, yes it is!” I replied, and pulled out the painting so he and the assistant could measure it.  What size frame? he asked and I ran out to the car to grab it so it could be measured as well, and when I returned they asked - “Is this DNA? I’ve seen GATTACA” and I delightedly said, "YES it is, and that is was a 16S gene conserved across all living things"…..I started holding up mat colours to see what looked nice, what made the artwork pop - and he asked “Do we have a winner?" - and I said that I wanted something neutral - so he went in the back and pulled out a piece - “This is special order” he confided.  They cut it in 10 minutes, asked for my autograph, and wished me good luck as I very nearly skipped out of the store.
Came home and framed it.
Perfection.
