For some reason a verse that always stayed with me is from the Hobbit, from a song sung by the Dwarves in Beorn's house. It's about the wind passing through many places, but the last verse always leaves me with a serene feeling.
"It left the world and took its flight
over the wide seas of the night.
The moon set sail upon the gale,
and stars were fanned to leaping light."
